History of San Lorenzo

San Lorenzo opened in Pittsburgh’s historic Lawrenceville section in April, 2014.

San Lorenzo derived the name from the Lawrenceville section we call home and the patron saint of cooks.

In a warm, cozy and even familiar dining room, guests can enjoy fresh-made pastas prepared in traditional, seasonal, and creative ways, along with sometimes imaginative, sometimes familiar preparations of meats and fishes.

Our aim is to provide a great experience in the type of comfortable atmosphere one might find at a neighborhood trattoria in Italy.
